Hannah says:
Elizabeth Taylor may have been married 8 times to 7 different men, but her constant, life-long love was jewellery. And the many men in her life were happy to provide it for her, too.
With an auction of some of her treasured pieces coming up at Christie's we can see her personal tastes up close. She liked the grand as well as the whimsical, and her collection included not only famously immense stones but also pretty birds and intricate insects.
To evoke the spirit of Liz, I chose a royal blue one shouldered dress by Rafael Lopez for Atelier-Mayer, a grand white fur and simply scattered as many of Atelier-Mayer fantastic diamante pieces across it as I could!
