Look of the Week
Winter Warmers
Hannah says:
When it gets cold, the first thing I get happy about is being able to wear fur. Vintage fur, that is. Vintage fur is retro-chic all the way to the bank - or the supermarket - as well as being, like all quality vintage, good for the planet by reusing resources rather than creating more... There's nothing more glamorous for winter in my mind - a modern attitude and a vintage fur. So, for my final 'Look' of the year, I decided to keep the tones brown and black (its not a sin to mix them) for a late Seventies vibe, and layered up a gorgeous brown mink, and brown fluffy fur hat (very Russian aristocrat!) with these great black mink cuffs and an astrakhan muff. Wide leg black Yves Saint Laurent velvet trousers completed the look, and I have to say its one I love. Best for your New Year party dressing - and don't for get to keep warm on the way!
