I love a fireplace. Even if it isn't a working fireplace you can fill the space with candles for a warm and soothing glow.

Honestly? I'm addicted to HomeGoods, believe it or not.
How integrated is fashion with interior trends?
Very. As a graphic designer, I am constantly perusing fashion magazines for new trends. I incorporate patterns and textures from fashion into my artwork, and I think that interior designers do exactly the same thing.
