A beautiful 1970's red jacket by Yves Saint Laurent. The jacket is made from red wool with flecks of yellow and navy throughout. The jacket has a mandarin collar lined in black velvet and fastens up the front with five large round metallic silver buttons. The buttonholes are trimmed in black velvet and a pocket sits on each side of the waist. The long sleeves are padded at the shoulder and fasten with a matching button at the cuff. The inside of the jacket is lined in silk and the front edges of the lining are trimmed with more black velvet. The jacket is fitted across the bust, pulling in at the waist and flaring out slightly at the hips. This jacket is in near mint condition.

This jacket looks fabulous when worn open to show off the black velvet details in contrast to the red. Wear over a simple grey sweater with jeans and flat boots or with black wide legged trousers and a sheer blouse.
