Oroton was founded in 1938 by businessman Boyd Lane in Sydney, Australia. The company imported textiles and handbag frames from a Europe. One such material, mesh, came from Belgium and soon became one of the company's most important imports. The mesh evening bags drew a cult following and were so in-demand the brand was even asked to produce a limited-edition purse especially for the opening of the Sydney Opera House.
Give a subtle nod to this season’s art deco trend with this beautiful evening bag. Team it with a silk bias cut gown or fringed mini dress.
