A simply stunning 1980's Alaïa black cardigan. This cardigan has a low neckline which fastens on the bust with two shell buttons. From the shoulders to the bust, the cardigan is made from a thick ribbed knit, while from the bust down the fabric becomes a thinner racket knit, which flows over the body. The sleeves are made in the same way, with the thicker knit to the upper arm, before turning into the finer knit which flares out into a poet sleeve reaching to below the fingertips. The cardiagn gently flares out from below the bust, finishing below the hip creating a flattering shape.
