Hermès 1985 military print silk scarf
£ 230.00
An incredible Hermès silk scarf from 1985. The design of the scarf is based on a pencil and pen drawing by M Hilbert from the Emile Hermès collection, and the scarf was named 'Grand Uniform'. The scarf has a thick navy border, white background and is printed with gold swords and blue and green hats worn by the tirailleur-grenadier. The scarf is in near mint condition.

'The Hermès scarf is a style icon. Worn by royalty and celebrities, coveted and admired, and now avidly collected, this deceptively simple square of silk is much more than just a fashion accessory: it is the stuff of legend' Nadine Coleno 'The Hermès scarf: History and Mystique'
There are just so many ways to wear a Hermès scarf, here are a couple of our favourite ways: fold the scarf into a long strip, thread it through the belt loops of you jeans and tie into a bow at the front for a super chic belt. Tie two corners around your neck and the other two behind your back for a cute crop top that can be worn with denim shorts on the beach.
