An incredible purple lace gown by Rafael Lopez for Atelier-Mayer. The gown has a square neckline with long sheer purple lace sleeves. The front and back of the gown are made from panels of purple tulle embroidered with purple and gold sequins in a floral pattern. The sides of the dress are sheer purple lace and the back of the gown has a keyhole cut-out revealing the back from the neck to the waist. The skirt of the dress hugs the hips falling to the floor with fishtail train that fans out around the feet.
All pieces are haute couture and made to order.
From the south of Spain, award-winning designer Rafael Lopez is today's answer to Cristobal Balenciaga. Graduated from The Marangoni Institute and Central St. Martins, he is back in Spain launching his first haute couture collection. He mixes Latin sensuality with traditional history, yet keeps it international. The Rafael Lopez style is a mélange of "The cool of England, the sensuality of Italy, the force of Spain and the chic of France".
