Missoni 1970's fabric and resin cuff

A lovely 1970's Missoni cuff made from black resin. The cuff is embellished with multicoloured chiffon fabric running the length of the cuff and an additional braid of fabric is attached. The cuff is then wrapped with a turquoise elastic thread. The cuff is in near mint condition with some discolouration to the elastic.

This Missoni cuff is typical of the 1970’s and the brand’s trademark patterns. The 1970’s saw a strong tendency to the use of ethnic fabrics, in both clothing and jewellery. Beading and fringing were especially popular.
This cuff definitely has a bohemian feel to it. Wear with a maxi dress in the summer and lots of necklaces.
