La Porte Bleue lucite star fish necklace

A fabulous 1980's starfish pendant necklace by La Porte Bleue. The necklace is made up of blue plastic beads interspersed with clear Lucite rondelles. A large purple Lucite bead on either side of the necklace attaches to a large starfish pendant, also in purple Lucite. The necklace fastens at the back of the neck with a hook and is signed. This necklace is in excellent condition with some signs of wear to the Lucite and some marks on the beads.

Lucien Pellat-Finet launched his jewellery label La Porte Bleue in 1982. He wanted to design eye-catching jewellery for women that already had fine jewellery in gold and silver but who wanted something bright and bold. Most of his designs were made from plastics and resins.
This necklace will inject some fun into summer outfits. Wear with a brightly coloured dress and add some Lucite bangles and a straw hat.
