Pucci 1990's silk print maxi dress

An unworn Pucci silk maxi dress from the 1990's. The dress is made from black silk mix fabric over the bust and has a deep v-neckline. The body of the dress is made from sheer silk printed with a signature Pucci pattern in shades of white, pink, black grey and purple. The fabric is embroidered with white metallic thread that catches the light. A 19cm zip fastens up the left side with seven small buttons. This dress is in near mint condition and has never been worn.

Emilio Pucci’s label was started from one ski suit designed for a female friend to wear on the slopes of Zermatt in 1947. From then on ‘Pucci mania’ exploded through the fashion world with his exciting and exotic prints catching the eye of the new type of woman that he wished to liberate through his clothing. The 1970’s were Pucci’s decade of colour and when he created the brightest of all his prints.
This maxi dress is simply stunning. Wear it to summer garden parties with delicate jewellery and strappy sandals.
