Hermès 1970's brown leather bolide bag

A classic 1970's brown leather bag by Hermès. The bag has a structured shape with two top handles and an 89cm brown leather strap that can be clipped to the bag with two gold metal lobster clasps so that it can be worn on the shoulder. The bag fasten across the top with a zip and the zip can be locked closed with a gold metal padlock and key which is hidden in a leather cover that hangs from one of the handles. Inside the bag there is one main compartment with an additional slip pocket, and four gold metal studs sit on the bottom of the bag to keep it off the floor. This bag is in near mint condition and comes with its original dust bag and box.

The Hermès Bolide bag was designed in 1922 for the wife of Emile-Maurice Hermès. It was originally called the Bugatti after the French racecar.
