Chergui Carpet by Romeo Gigli - “Chergui” is a flat weave carpet in black and natural wool colour, designed by me and produced by a group of Amazigh ladies. “Chergui” continues a personal tradition of mine of carpet designing that started in 1992 with the collaboration with Christopher Farr - nine limited edition flat woven carpet designs; and continued with the 2010 collaboration with ALTAI Milano where I designed nine handknotted collector’s silk carpets made in Uzbekistan.
