Natural Raffia Lampshade

This lampshade is handcrafted from natural raffia. Raffia is created from sustainable sources, the Palmyra Palm Tree is part of the Borassus family, which consists of five giant fan palms which are native to the tropical regions of Africa. It is the stocks of the Palmyra leaves that create what we call Raffia. The raffia fibre is soft, pliable, strong, durable, easy to dye and biodegradable, making it an excellent material for weaving. Spot clean only using a soft cloth, cold water and mild detergent then allow it to naturally dry. This striking lampshade creates ambient light and is perfect for adding organic texture to your space.
